RNLI Coastal Information

 

The relationship with RNLI began with Design Research Unit in the creation and development of a nationwide sign system for UK beaches, with both english and dual language versions. This highly successful scheme was adopted by the Blue Flag Organization,  followed by other beaches worldwide, and winner of a Sign Design Society Award.

Following on from work with the RNLI on beach signs, we worked on information signs for UK public slipways. Working to the same format as the beach signs, we organized complex information into a series of easy to read and understand signs, as part of an initiative to reduce boating incidents.
